This kit features a 4.2-turn lock-to-lock helm & a common 3/4" tapered keyed steering shaft. It is suitable for boats up to 24' in length & steering wheels up to 16" in diameter. Suitable For: - Most Single-Station Boats with a Single Non-Power-Assisted Outboard Engine (up to V-6) in which MINIMAL Engine Flutter or Steering Instability is Present. Use Dual Cable System - SS148xx - for boats with MORE Engine Flutter or Steering Instability. - Nearly all SeaStar Solutions Single Cable Safe-T Steering Systems without Dash Modification.
