Description: 12 Strasbourg Chanticleer Ware Fondeville England Salad Plates. The white ground plates are decorated with pink roses and a center bouquet. The plates are hand painted with enameling. The rim edge is ruffled and trimmed with pink. The base has the maker's mark with a Rooster. SIZE: 8 inches wide CONDITION: One plate has a small impressed mark in the porcelain on the reverse side (appears to be as made/misplaced). One plate has crazing. There are a few very light use marks -- plates may have been used one time. Very good condition. Nice country French decor.
