The founding of Monarch started with a small local coin shop, Oregon Coin and Jewellery. The shop was having trouble sourcing silver bullion to sell to its customers. From there the idea of making silver bullion was born. The next phase was hand pouring silver bars using a small induction Melter typically used in jewellery making. Those bars were then hand stamped with basic individual letter stamps. Eventually, Monarch Precious Metals was formed and moved to a larger warehouse in Phoenix, Oregon for production where we first made some of the original struck 1/10th ounce silver rounds and started machining our own moulds for hand pouring small sheets and small bars.
