Description: DESCRIPTION NOTE: This piece is 7/8 of a yard. I am a quilter and this 100% cotton flannel is from my personal stash. I do not use my inventory and purchase retail. It is easier during tax time. The flannel is about 41-43" wide. This is the cutest print. The background is white with what looks like little pale gray scales. There are also bubbles in blue. The seahorses, fish and flowers are in pinks, and oranges highlighted in reddish plum. The leaves are shades of green. The size of the print is indicated by the quarter. What you can do with this print is only limited by your imagination. I do my best when I take pictures and upload to be as accurate as possible to the true colors. Color - the property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way the object reflects or emits light. batik - batik is a method of producing colored designs on textiles by dyeing them, having first applied wax to the parts to be left undyed. This means that the colors will not be uniform and will have different shades to them. The designs are not static and that is what makes this type of dying so wonderful. If you don’t like a specific pattern, just move it around and there is another. The colors go from dark to light to medium.
