They are bottom swimmers and walk along plant life collecting small particles of food that hasn't been eaten by fish. How we ship - prior to shipment of livestock we fast them to reduce waste as to not foul the water - include an ammonia absorber pad in their bag to help reduce chances of foul water - livestock is backed in fitted transport bags - (Heat packs will be used if needed, for temperatures under or near 40°!!. Heat packs are not required but highly recommended and also SOLD SEPARATELY, so please add at checkout amongst livestock purchase if temperatures in your area are not satisfactory) - the box is filled with insulation to protect your order from hard drops or falls during shipment - “live animal” and “fragile” stickers on the package to notify shipping company of the delicate contents.
